Juliane is a young witch who lives on the edge of a magical forest. She knows its secrets and teh magical creatures that live there. “The Witch, the Cat and the Egg” is a creatively written book about a witch who is asked to do something by a dragon. The main character, Juliane, the witch is a good role model for children because she is kind and loves helping others. The potions and spells she knew were creatively thought up as well as the names of the forest creatures by the author. I liked how the characters helped each other, showing that they were great friends and it made a good lesson in friendship.
